Founder of Big Tree Global Melanie has spent much of the last 20 years working out how business can genuinely help tackle humanity's biggest challenges most effectively. After working initially in senior management for a tech multinational across Europe and Asia Pacific and IT start-ups my path took a different turn - running programmes and an impact business in the Kibera slum in Nairobi. It made me curious to understand better as to how companies can truly help create a better future when it comes to climate change, poverty, pollution and rising inequality.
